Aaron Ramsey is to undergo a minor surgical procedure during the international break, ruling him out of Ryan Giggs squad.

Aaron Ramsey will not be part of Wales travelling squad for the upcoming China Cup, which kicks off in Naning on March 22, as reported by thecricketblog.info

Aaron Ramsey played in Arsenal’s squad for the second leg of their Europa league last-16 tie against AC Milan, but Giggs expects the international break was “a good time” for him to have the procedure.

“We’ve been in discussions with Arsenal and Aaron,” Giggs told a media conference on Thursday.

“He’s got a small procedure, it’s the ideal time in the break to get it done. He’ll be in the squad for AC Milan.

“It’s a good time to get this done. It’s a blow because he’s a quality player but it’s the best thing for the future for Aaron.”
