Arsenal turned the odds, proving they are still the club who runs North London with a 2-0 victory over arch rivals Tottenham hotspurs. For Gooners it was a perfect start to the weekend and Arsene Wenger will be delighted ow is team performed and proved themselves.
The atmosphere at Emirates Stadium was something extraordinary, you could see how much it meant to fans. At the end of the day its all about pleasing the supporters, and when they are joyfully singing loud at the end of ninety – you know you did your job right.
At the same time, Alexis Sanchez is all about pleasing the fans. Every now and then he has insisted on pleasing the supporters – doing something for them. Sanchez netted past Hugo Lloris extending Arsenal’s lead and what a way to score you first goal of the season, it cannot get better then this.
