Arsenal are reportedly considering making a £25 million move for RB Salzburg forward Noah Okafor. The 22-year-old Swiss forward has 10 goals and five lay-offs in 30 games for the Austrian club this season including goals against AC Milan and Chelsea in the Champions League this season.

Noah Okafor has been subject to speculations from multiple Premier League clubs in West Ham and Tottenham alongside Arsenal.

In 108 appearances with Salzburg after joining the club from FC Basel in 2020, Okafor has scored 34 goals and sent out 23 assists. Over the last three years in a row, he has dominated the Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup at Salzburg.

Salzburg might be prepared to trade Okafor at the conclusion of the season to maximise the value of his contract, which is set to expire in the summer of 2024. Okafor’s versatility makes him a promising offensive option, as he can play in the centre forward position as well as on the right or left flank.

The Daily Mail reports that Okafor’s price tag is £25 million, but a bidding battle involving Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham may push the price much higher. Also said to be interested in acquiring Okafor this summer are Italian giants AC Milan and Inter Milan, who were both eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Champions League this season. West Ham is presently in a relegation fight, and a drop to the Championship would exclude them from consideration. Yet, the Hammers are expected to be able to give Okafor with the most consistent playing time, which may encourage him to chose them.

Noah Okafor has earned twelve caps for Granit Xhaka’s captain-ed Switzerland following making his debut against England in 2019.
