Arsenal fans cannot believe they’ve signed William Saliba – ‘Incredible talent, I can’t believe he’s ours’

Arsenal had an incredible summer 2019, which was regarded as one of the best they had in years and definitely the best business by a Premier League club beforehand to 2019/20 campaign.

Arsenal needed to get better of their defence and not only the supporters but also board realized how much they will have to invest in the back line. Arrival of David Luiz and Kieran Tierney turned out to be highlights of the deadline day, but yet they might not be the better of defensive recruits Raul Sanllenhi made this summer.

Eighteen-year-young French defender William Saliba is probably the best defender Arsenal have signed since Rob Holding. But he didn’t cost just couple of millions, Arsenal paid an hedty sum of £27 million to sign Saliba added to the fact that he won’t arrive at London Colney for another year.

Saliba was sidelined for the opening seven league games owing to hamstring injury and Saint-Etienne struggled in his absence. After the run of four losses, two draws and only one win – Claude Puel’s side struggled to cope up without young Saliba, and since his return they’ve recorded four wins and a draw in five fixtures, with Saliba donning the defence in all of five games.

Frenchman’s latest contribution came against League’s top scorer Wasim Ben Yedder, as three points against Monaco life them just two points from second place and Arsenal fans can’t believe they have William Saliba joining forces next campaign.
