The Emirates FA Cup final is nearly here. Arsenal square off against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Arsenal still have the chance to come out of this season with silverware and earn qualification to the Europa League for next season after finishing the Premier League season in eight place. They are the most successful club in FA Cup having won the trophy on 13th separate occasions with last lifted the historic trophy in 2017 in a victory against Chelsea.

The Gunners booked their place in the final after beating Leeds United, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Sheffield United and Manchester City, while on the other hand, the Blues reached into the final courtesy of victories over Nottingham Forest, Hull City, Liverpool, Leicester City and Manchester United respectively.

Let’s look at the team that Mikel Arteta could lineup against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea:-

Bernd Leno is back in training after suffering a ligament sprain against Brighton last month but still unlikely to feature. Emi Martinez is expected to keep his place between the goalpost for Arsenal.

With Shkodran Mustafi now out, Rob Holding is expected to start at the right. The former Chelsea man David Luiz will take up the central role, whilst Sead Kolasinac should come in on left.

Kieran Tierney is expected to take up the spot at left-wing back. Bukayo Saka is another option, of course. On the right, Hector Bellerin should come in ahead of Cedric Soares.

Arsenal’s midfield should comprise of Granit Xhaka alongside the in-form Dani Ceballos, who could be playing his last game for the club UNLESS as rumours reckon, Arsenal manage to find common grounds with Real Madrid and keep him at the Emirates.

There are definitely options here but Arteta to go strong, most proven attacking option. Arsenal front three could comprise of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Nicolas Pepe on the either flanks and Alexandre Lacazette will start up as the sole striker.

Arsenal Expected Lineup: Emi Martinez: Rob Holding, David Luiz, Sead Kolasinac; Hector Bellerin, Dani Ceballos, Granit Xhaka, Kieran Tierney; Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
