Arsenal target Axel Disasi prefers move to Spain over Premier League

Arsenal alongside the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton have been linked with Reims central defender Axel Disasi, who reportedly is keen on a move to Sevilla rather than Arsenal or any of our English counter-parts.

Disasi has been one of the growing names as we sit in isolated, due to links from the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham.

Axel helped Remis to the best defensive record in the French top-tier, conceding just twenty-one goals in 28 games this season.

Although after links from Arsenal cooled, Southampton were quiet confident over securing a £13 million deal with Remis for the Frenchman. Yet, new reports have emerged from Seville-based editorial outlet Orgullobiri who claim that Disasi is rather interested in moving to Sevilla with Los Palanganas’ opening talks with Remis over a potential deal.

The report further claims that Arsenal also have contacted Disasi’s agent – however the late success of Diego Carlos & Kounde in Spanish Premiership following their moves from France is said to be a strong influence on Disasi.

William Saliba is set to return to Arsenal from his loan spell at St-Etienne after the French top-flight being cancelled and the North Londoners are also perusing a permanent option to sign Flamengo loanee Pablo Mari.

However, Mikel Arteta is said to see Disasi as an ideal partner to Saliba at the heart of defence.

Arsenal can’t rely on Shkodran Mustafi. Meanwhile, David Luiz and Sokratis are in their thirties and may have one or two more years left to offer.

Disasi is just twenty-two with alot of potential in him, any move today will be critical in his development.
