Arsenal will face AC Milan in the Round of sixteen of UEFA Europa League over two legs this March. Arsenal vs AC Milan has always been an exciting fixture to showcase and it has got the supporters excited again.

Talking about both the clubs they boast some exciting talents and talented squad. Amongst them come of the most promising Right backs in Europe – Hector Bellerin and Davide Calabria. Both of them have impressed fans as well as pundits on a high scale.

Arsenalcore will today analyse ‘how’ both of these full-backs fair, their strengths and their weaknesses.

Hector Bellerin

Bellerin is now an integral part of Arsenal. He has become someone that people believe In –  someone that youths look up to. Bellerin is a beast going forward and composed on his defensive duties. He has grown as a defender over the years and is matured enough to take right decisions defensively in nail-biting moments.

Hector is regarded as ‘One of the best full back’ around Europe at the moment and it will be interesting to see how Wenger deploys him against AC Milan. Hector can even feature as wing-back on the right side. With Arsenal employing 3-4-2-1 formation in recent times, Bellerin is used as a Right wing back and can become a nightmare for the opposition. His impressive performances in oppositions half have earned him high compliments.

Bellerin loves to run at opposition defence and with his dribbling potential and ability to cross the ball, he join in with attacks.

Davide Calabria

The Italian Right back have made quite of an impression this season, despite of his young age – his maturity and composer not only in the defensive aspects but also offensive side of the game have earned plaudits. Davide Calabria is Milan’s youth product and made his Serie A debut in 2015, yet he didn’t got running with the first team until now.

Davide Calabria is a versatile defender who can even play as a middleman and possesses equal abilities on both foot.

Calabria is a complete Modern full back who likes to run forward. He is even effective with his crosses as well as playing around opponents penalty area. With that said he recovers his defensive position quickly. Davide is someone with wind in his lungs and a decent pace.

The Italian starlet has thrived under Gennaro Gattuso with scoring two and providing one in 13 appearances under new boss.

Facing Arsenal will be challenging for Davide as this will be his first ‘big test’ in Europe. Yes, he has played for Milan in Europa this season but coming up against a club with history and caliber of Arsenal is just another thing.
