Arsenal vs Blackpool: Preview | Carabao Cup 2018/19

Arsenal will welcome League One side Blackpool to the Emirates on Wednesday evening in the fourth round of Carabao Cup.

Unai Emery Arsenal will look to return to their winning ways after a upsetting draw against Crystal Palace at the weekend which put their 11-match winning run to an end.

Arsenal Boss is expected to make several changes and speaking about that, Emery said: “We will choose 18 players for the Blackpool match, the young players also. We are going to have a mix in order to get the best performance against Blackpool, to respect them.

“For us, the Carabao Cup is very important. It’s an opportunity to win a trophy and for tomorrow, a chance to play in front of our supporters at Emirates Stadium in this competition.”

For Arsenal, Petr Cech is in frame ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Blackpool.

A muscular injury which Hector Bellerin picked against Crystal Palace will see him miss out. Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac continue to be assessed, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is back in contention.

Laurent Koscielny is recovered and returned to full training but may be too short of fitness to make a comeback from his Achilles injury.

For Blackpool, they will be without centre-forward Armand Gnanduillet (suspended) and Donervon Daniels (hamstring)
