Burnley vs Arsenal: Preview | Premier League 2020/21

After a stunning 3-1 victory over Leicester City on Sunday, Arsenal will now travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley, who are currently sitting at 15th position in the points table with 29 points. As for Arsenal, after their win against Leicester City, they are now currently sitting in 10th position with 37 points.

Mikel Arteta will look to grab another 3 points against a Burnley, who are having a poor run-of-form in the Premier League, and continue his team’s winning streak ahead of their first leg match against Olympiacos in the Round of 16 of the Europa League which will be played on the 12th of March. Burnley, on the other hand, are currently struggling to score goals and win games in the league and has won just one game out of their last five games. It will be a huge task for Sean Dyche and his team as they will have to come up with some plan and also will have to put in some hard work against the Gunners if he wants to stop their losing streak.

The Gunners will be confident and will come with their full strength against an out-of-form Burnley, and will look to win another 3 points and will try their best to keep their place at the top half of the points table.

Emile Smith-Rowe is the only regular player from the starting XI, who is likely to miss the match due to an injury that he suffered during their previous match against Leicester City. Other than that, Martin Odegaard suffered a minor injury, which he recovered and is likely to replace the injured Smith-Rowe for the match.

Nicolas Pepe is once again likely to be in the starting line-up for this match, also Arteta will look to give some game time for the other players, who were rested for the match against Leicester City ahead of their important clash in the Europa League.

Arteta will wish that none of his regular players get injured ahead of their clash against Olympiacos in the Round of 16 of the Europa League.

Burnley
