PREVIEW: Chelsea vs Arsenal

It’s the biggest match of gameweek five in the Premier League. Two of the best teams in the division go head-to-head for the fourth time this year.

Both the clubs come into the game with victory in their respective European matches. Chelsea won the game comfortably in the mid-week with netting six but the stakes are high at weekend and the game is not that easy as it was.

Arsenal beat FC Cologne with three goals to one, it was a tough first half for the Gunners but they sealed the deal comfortably in the second.

When and Where?
Stamford Bridge will serve as hosts for this fixture, where Arsene Wenger & Co. will visit on this Sunday at 18:00 IST.

Zappacoasta

Both the managers have some good headaches to deal with: On the home side, Antonio Conte has to scratch his head over starting Victor Moses or new signing Davide Zappacosta who have highly impressed in couple of appearances in Chelsea shirt. On other side of the fence, Arsene Wenger have to knuckle down between players to play forward. Arsenal have quality attacking players with Welbeck, Lacazette, Giroud, Sanchez – but who is to give a go for the fixture is still blurred for the fans.

Both the clubs rested their star players for the midweek fixture. David Luiz and Alvaro Morata were dropped to bench for Qarabag fixture. Mesut Ozil, Petr Cech, Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi, Danny Welbeck didn’t feature for the men in red and whites against FC Cologne.

Positives for Chelsea supporters, as Eden Hazard gets back from injury he suffered while with national team before the start of the season. Where as it looks like Alexis Sanchez is warmed up for the big fixture after his display against FC Cologne.

Two of the best players in the League for the time – Alexis Sanchez and Eden Hazard will go toe-to-toe showing another “Who is the better one”. Both the wingers are poised to achieve big and this is the where they get a chance to prove who has a upper hand to be the ‘Best Player in Premier League’.

Jack-Wilshere

Even Jack Wilshere may be involved for the Gunners somewhere during the ninety.

Gary Cahill will return from suspension for the Stamford Bridge side with no injury concerns for Chelsea. Deadline day signing Danny Drinkwater may be available after suffering from calf problem.

Francis Coquelin is set to miss the match. Santiago Cazorla will still take months to get back to business.

Arsenal are having a disgraceful start to a season. After victory against Leicester on the opening matchday, they suffered from couple of losses against Stoke City and Liverpool. Arsenal’s performance have been below par this season but Stamford Bridge is the perfect platform to right the wrongs.

Key Clash:

Chelsea as well as Arsenal broke the bank to get in quality ‘big name’ strikers. Arsenal signed big man from Lyon Alexandre Lacazette – who is a proven goal scorer in France. Antonio Conte snapped Real Madrid star striker Alvaro Morata. Both the big money signings has got their worth to prove.
