Danial Yifang name price for Yannick Carrasco

Carrasco’s return to the West seems inevitable. The winger exuberantly and evidently wants to come back to Europe, having spent a year in Chinese Super League.

The Belgian international was always on the brink of a leave from China which Dalian have finally accepted. The Chinese club is demanding the fee of £25 million for their star striker. Yes, he is the same man that the club was reluctant to sell, back in January.

With rumours of Carrasco available for sale, Bayern Munich have also constructed a deal to steal the Belgian from Arsenal, if they are unable to sign Leroy Sane. Like us, the German Giants too require a winger to replace the likes of Arjen Robben and Frank Ribery. For them Carrasco is a second option, unlike us where he is the best we can afford.

Speculations of Carrasco joining Arsenal have grown ever since the Belgian demonstrated his will to travel back to Europe. Talking about his deal with Arsenal, he said:

“Negotiations are going well.

“I am aware that I am an important player for the team but I hope the chairman understands and they let me leave.

“From a personal and family point of view, I would like to return to Europe and stay closer to my family. The adjustment for my family was also difficult over there.

“I have become a lot more mature and have learned a lot. Also on the field, where I had to take more responsibility. But my wish now is to return.”

The big hurdle, however, remains the Chinese sides firmness on the fee attached with Carrasco. While Dalian are obdurate to make amends in their fees, Arsenal want it to be shrinked a little.
