Unai Emery speaks up on Aaron Ramsey’s Juventus transfer

Well, Unai Emery had a bitter ending at Arsenal following a sour row with fans and leaving the Reds from North London in a bad position before Mikel Arteta took charge.

Unai Emery is to be blamed for more than what the side represented on the pitch, and one of those highlights was Aaron Ramsey.

Aaron Ramsey joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer after running down his contract at the Emirates in a manner which got the fans talking. His move to Juventus means an end to eleven years of stay at Arsenal, where he made 371 appearances – scoring 65 goals after joining from Cardiff City in 2008.

Ramsey’s departure was an emotional one for him as well as all the Gooners around the globe, who all feel that Arsenal should have done much more to keep hold of him. Ramsey left Arsenal after eleven incredible years, three FA Cups, two Charity Shields & owning f*cking Wembley (You know what I mean) – and became a strong fan favorite in the process.

Although, Unai says it was all out of his hand and Ramsey decided that he needed a change of scenery.

“The decisions were made by the club and Ramsey himself,” Unai Emery speaking wit Tutto Juve. “The player decided to leave and moved to a big team, which inevitably led him to another football.

“Aaron will be a very important player for Juventus; he has the same ambition.

“I congratulated him because he chose a team where he can win so much.

“Juve is a big name in European and world football. After so many years in England, this is a great challenge for him.”

(Hey Unai! You decide to take a jibe on us in the process? Well, You should know this is as big you’re getting. And Thank You for ruining being Arsene Wenger’s successor.)
