How can Arsenal line-up against Newcastle | Premier League 2019/20

Arsenal dawn the new Premier League season travelling to the St. James Park as they meet Newcastle United.

The Gunners have reached the aforesaid destination but are travelling without Ozil and Kolasinac who are traumatised after the recent happenings.

The new-looking Arsenal will face Newcastle this Sunday at 2 PM in lieu of achieving the Premier League cup and doing the undoable; achieving the unachievable.

With Ozil and Kolasinac out on the grounds of further security interests and potential threats, the new signings may get their debut as soon as tomorrow.

Without Ozil and Kolasinac, this is how we could line up:

Predicted 4–2-3-1 line-up

Unai Emery will start with one of his preferred positions with a lot of altering than last year. Although the keeper remains our star performer, there a change in defence and midfield.

The between posts guy will be Bernd Leno only. With no better option to play, the German will shoulder the responsibilty of saving the goals with four defenders who may be Monreal, Sokratis, Luiz and Niles. With Sokratis and Luiz at the heart of defence, our backbone finally seems firm. Though considering the fact that Luiz has only been there for couple of days, Calum Chambers has a real chance of being given a go-ahead.

In the midfield, Xhaka and Joe Willock will hold a rather defensive role, as the latter has been showing signs of a top prospect in the preseason and be given an opportunity ahead of Guendouzi and Torreira. Talking about attacking midfielders Mkhitarya, Ceballos and Aubameyang accompanying them up front. The record signing Pepe might get his debut off the bench tonight.

There’s no point to ponder on who our striker would be. Alexandre Lacazette!!!!!

Although if Lacazette is not risked upfront considering his recent knock, I would expect either of Reiss Nelson or Gabriel Martinelli taking uo the left wing spot with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moving in his preferred number nine spot.
