Huddersfield vs Arsenal: Match Preview | Premier League 2017/18

Arsenal will play their last game of the season in the Premier League against Huddersfield Town on Sunday. Arsenal have failed to collect any away point from the fixtures in the Premier League in 2018 till date. They will be desperate to get a win against Huddersfield Town on Wednesday to finish the season with a high note.

The defeat against Leicester City in the previous match was very much disheartening for the Gunners. Konstantinos Mavropanos was shown a red card at just 15th minute of the match and Arsenal have to play with ten men in the field for the rest of the match.

On the other hand, Huddersfield Town will also wish to finish the season on a high note. They have managed to get two back to back draws against the top two English sides Manchester City and Chelsea. Huddersfield manager David Wagner will try to finish the season with getting a good result against the Gunners.

The match will be hosted by Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium on 13th May, 15:00 BST.

The combination of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang at the upfront of the field was working well for the Gunners in the last lap of the season. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is in real good form and he has also scored against Leicester City. The pair of Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers will be in there a chance against Huddersfield Town as Konstantinos Mavropanos is suspended due to the red card. Nacho Monreal might come in the starting XI in place of Sead Kolasinac.

On the other hand, David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town have some injury problems before heading towards the Arsenal game. Thomas Ince, Michael Hefele, Danny Williams and Elias Kachunga will be out of the contention against the Gunners due to various injury problems.
