After a nerve-wracking 3-2 win over Benfica in the Europa League, the Gunners will be heading back to England as Leicester City will play hosts to Arsenal in the Premier League this Sunday.

Thursday’s 3-2 win over Benfica means that now Arteta’s men will be facing Olympiacos in the Round of 16 of the Europa League.

But before that, they will be facing Leicester City, who are currently sitting in 3rd position on the points table with 49 points. They will be coming into this game after a 2-0 loss to Slavia Prague in the second leg of the Round of 32 of the Europa League on Thursday, which means that the European journey for the 2020-21 season has now finally ended for Brendon Roger’s team. But still, they are having a strong run-of-form in the Premier League by winning three of their last four matches and still have a high chance of winning against Arsenal on Sunday.

Talking about Arsenal, they will be heading into this game after a dramatic 3-2 win against Benfica where they made a great comeback after Benfica were having more away goals advantage and nearly stealing the match. This win meant that their European journey will continue as they have now qualified for the Round of 16 of the Europa League and will try their best to reach the finals of the Championship. Arsenal are currently sitting in 11th position on the points table with just 34 points to their name and their Premier League form has been poor, just winning one game out of the five matches played. Arteta will have to come up with a strong plan if they want to win against Leicester City, who are having a good run in the Premier League.
