Manchester United vs Arsenal 2017-18: Match Preview

Its going to be Arsene Wenger vs Jose Mourinho for the final time as Manchester United hosts the Gunners this Sunday. The Red Devils are looking forward to host one of their arch rivals to Old Trafford this Sunday, as the legendary Arsene Wenger prepares to lead out his team at the Theater of Dreams for one final time in his Arsenal career. 

Securing European football for next season is firmly on the mind of both teams – with the Reds able to confirm a place in the UEFA Champions League group phase for 2018/19 with a win against Bournemouth a week ago, while the Gunners are battling to hold off Burnley in the fight for a UEFA Europa League place.

Arsene Wenger might decide to give a rest to key players as they will face Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital four days later in the UEFA Europa League semi-finale stage.

The No.7 of both sides are looking forward to face their former club as they had a swap deal earlier this year.

In the reverse fixture, Arsenal were unable to gain 3 points as so called the “Wall” of Manchester United(David de Gea) made 14 saves against the might Gunners.

Jose has confirmed, he has fully-fit team except for the Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero who had sustained a knee injury on international duty last month.

On the other hand, Arsene Wenger will definitely give a start to Pierre Emerick Aubameyang who will miss the fixture against Atletico Madrid being cup tied. Henrick Mkitaryan is available for the fixture after recovering from knee ligament injury. Mohamed Elneny (ankle) and Santi Cazorla (Achilles) are set to miss rest of the season.
