Mesut Ozil has ‘eyes in the back of his head’

You just cannot keep yourself from talking about Mesut Ozil right now. That guy is a Goat, ain’t he?

His performance against Leicester City just showed us, ‘What Mesut Ozil is all about’. His passing, creativity, shooting – damn I am outta words praising this guy.

Ozil fired Arsenal on level terms with Leicester right at the stroke of half time after the visitors took an early lead from a deflection that did beat Bernd Leno. And ‘second half’ it was just ‘Mesut Magic’.

Ozil was applauded with a standing ovation when bring substituted. He deserves it.

Former Premier League striker Chris Sutton hailed Mesut after his Leicester performance and you will just fall in love with What he had to say:

“We have got our Arsenal back!” Sutton said on BBC Radio 5 Live.

“Mesut Ozil has eyes in the back of his head. He was the instigator, the artist, the creator.

“This is simply stunning.

“All three goals have been about Ozil and listen to this stadium now.”

However, Sutton was left unimpressed when Unai Emery subbed Ozil off in the 80th-minute.

He said: “What? Don’t take Mesut Ozil off! I’m upset he has been taken off.

“I get sick and tired of the negativity towards Ozil. He is playing with a smile on his face. He is a genius and we have seen that tonight.

And Sutton also hailed Unai Emery for his genius switch after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s first effort on goal.

“What an inspired substitution,” he said.

“Mesut Ozil puts it on a plate for Hector Bellerin who makes the run behind Ben Chilwell.

“Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from four yards cannot miss.

“What an impact but what a pass by Ozil.”

Arsenal now face Sporting in the Europa League this Thursday before switching their attention to Crystal Palace and Premier League next weekend.
