Every Arsenal fan is looking forward to watch Henrikh Mkhitaryan play donning Arsenal jersey.

The swap deal including Alexis Sanchez and Mkhitaryan has raised quite of an debate amongst fans and pundits.

One of the Arsenal’s most celebrated player – Ian Wright backs Mkhitaryan to succeed at Arsenal. Wright even took dig at Jose Mourinho on how he failed to get the best out of De Bruyne and Mohammed Salah, both of them at the moment at the best in Premier League.

Mkhitaryan had fallen down the Mourinho’s ranks and failed to plant his feet with Manchester United but Wright backs the Armenian to rediscover his form donning Arsenal jersey.

Mkhitaryan is a top player,” Ian Wright said on Sky Sports’ The Debate.

“Unfortunately we haven’t seen the best of him at Manchester United. He is still trying to find his feet here.

“We know that Mourinho can get the hump with some players and it isn’t a bad thing if he blows you out – we’ve seen it with De Bruyne and Salah – but you are hoping he can come to Arsenal, a much more friendlier environment, in terms of the manager and hopefully he can thrive in that.

“I have seen enough of him when he has played that he definitely has quality. The big risk is if he can get back to the form at Dortmund.”

Ian Wright believes that Arsenal should have got rid of Sanchez last summer, but have got really lucky to land Mkhitaryan in this window.

“It was terrible business from Arsenal last summer,” he added.

“They should have let him go. Sanchez has had all the cards and Arsenal are very fortunate they are able to get Mkhitaryan.

“They have really fallen on their feet and will be happy for small mercies.”
