BAD NEWS! As Arsenal defender Shokdran Mustafi has limped off playing for Germany against 5-1 victory over Aserbaijan.
Mustafi was restricted to play only till 36th minute and Germany coach Joachim Low insists that he could face a long spell on sideline with severe muscle injury.
Low said: ‘I think Mustafi has a muscle tear. It looks a bit more serious.
‘A hamstring injury to a muscle tear, we have to wait for the exact diagnosis, but he’ll probably be out for a long time.’
It will be a huge blow to Arsenal as Mustafi is one of the key player at the heart of defence.
After the International break, Arsenal face Watford on Saturday. Watford have been in superb form lately and it will surely be a tricky fixture.
If he has suffered from ‘torn-muscle’, then he is likely to miss 6-8 weeks atleast.
