Arsenal will travel to England’s famous Wembley Stadium this weekend as they fave arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur in an early Kick-off on 10 February.

It will certainly be the ‘game of the weekend’ as Arsenal looks to get back to business and push themselves up for that Champions League spot in the end of the season.

Yet, supporters can get more excited by the signings Arsenal made this January.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will go head in head with Harry Kane. Both of them are top quality strikers and amongst the best around the globe. But they line up against each other this Saturday and only ‘One Man’ will go away with win.

Arsenalcore looks at ‘where’ both of the deadly strikers stand and gives it up to you, to decide who comes out on the top.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Aubameyang comes to Arsenal with high respect after what he has done with Dortmund in Germany. Arsenal signed Aubameyang in a club record deal this month and the Gabon ace had an ‘perfect’ debut against Everton which he will remember for long time.

Aubameyang’s goal scoring record is over the moon and gives Arsenal an impressive attacking threat.

Aubameyang is a pacey striker and with his pace, once he is past defenders it is pretty difficult to keep up with him. When Aubameyang came to Germany, he knocked off a 30 meter run in just over 3.7 seconds – which stands 0.08 second faster than Usian Bolt’s world record sprint. Dortmund were highly successful on counter attacks with Aubameyang’s pace being the core of the same. Arsenal can take that pace and hit off the mark on counter attacks consistently, particularly with the players Arsenal have going forward.

Another of the quality Aubameyang provides which proves him asset for Arsenal is his movement off the ball which misleads the defender leading directly to creativity around opposition penalty area.

Aubameyang even has his sight set on goal, his finishes are inch perfect and beats the man standing tall most of the times. After his move to Arsenal, Aubameyang’s finishing has been compared with Arsenal legend Ian Wright as he powers the ball similarly into the net.

Aubameyang netted on his Arsenal debut against Everton with a cool finish after  a ‘superb’ pass from Mkhitaryan shaving through defenders.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane has established  himself with Tottenham in past couple of years. He is one of those physical footballers with potential to get behind goalkeepers. At the moment, Kane is regarded as England’s best striker and will surely travel to Russia post-season as first choice number nine.

At Liverpool last weekend, Harry Kane reached to 100 Premier League goals after netting late penalty as Tottenham clinch one point too late.

North London derby is different ball game, pressure building up to the match day plays its part as arch city rivals battle on field.

Kane is not the fastest but his physical strength gives him advantage to get past defenders, his physicality even gives him a fare advantage from dead ball.Kane is one of the reasons that set pieces comes under Tottenham’s strength. Harry is even known to knock the ball from distance and for his power finishing. He can even link-up well and set the ball in the way he wants.

“He seems to have that natural ability to get goals. He’s also young, fresh and his attitude appears to be very, very good. What I like about him, is that he is willing to run in behind defenders, as well as go short. When he gets opportunities he inveariably takes them. He wants to get his shot away very quickly, which is good to see. It looks as if he could have a very good future in the game.” — Alan Shearer, the Premier League’s all-time top scorer, on Kane in March 2015
Many pundits have failed to point out on Kane’s weakness and number of them have admitted the failure to do the same.
