Abel Ruiz on Arsenal’s radar

After the success of Hector Bellerin and Cesc Fabrigas, Arsenal are targeting another of Barcelona’s famous LaMasia product Abel Ruiz.

The seventeen year young Spanish striker is yet to feature for the first team, but made his Barcelona B’s debut earlier this season. He scored one goal in three appearances for secondary Barcelona side.

Abel Ruiz is out of contract at Catalan based club in 2019 and with release clause of £3 million many giant clubs are scouting him heavily.

According to The Daily Mirror, Arsenal and Chelsea have contacted his representatives for a potential move.

Though Barcelona are desperate to keep hold of him, both the English clubs are looking to snap him.

With the likes of Hector Bellerin and Fabrigas, who have made a successful career moving to England – it will be a motivational figure for Abel Ruiz.

Abel Ruiz joined LaMasia in 2012 from Valencia. He made his Under-17 debut for Spain aged fifteen. Despite his young age he has not failed to impress with holding the record for – ‘Highest goal scorer for Spain U17 team’ with 21 goals.

He is regarded as one of the future hero for Spanish National Team, and certainly he will be looking to get some first team action either at Barcelona or somewhere else.
