North London Derby 17-18: Aaron Ramsey vs Dele Alli

The heat of the ‘North London Derby’ is going to rise with every remaining seconds. The fans are getting more and more involved and the players are trying to give their 100 percent in the last training session before the ‘Match of Pride’.

The result of the match will be really important for both the teams as a defeat in this match will take them more away from the top four position in the League Table. But a win or a draw could make them stay afloat in the contention. The eagerness of winning the match will be more for Wenger and Co as they are three points behind Spurs in the League Table.

Arsenalcore will today analyse another of the ‘Key Battles’ that supporters will have to look out for this Saturday.

Aaron Ramsey and Dele Alli are two Dark Horses to sign in this match. When the defenders will be busy in marking the big strikers like Kane and Aubameyang, the two above mentioned players will surely get free space to snatch a goal and be a hero in the North London Derby.

Aaron Ramsey :

The career of Aaron Ramsey is highly affected with injury woes. But he is in red hot form in this season and also scored a hattrick in the previous match against Everton. So his confidence level will be high ahead of the big occasion and he will be right up there to give the Spurs defenders a tough challenge.

Ramsey has featured in 18 matches this season for the Gunners and in all those matches he tried to make his presence marked. He has scored six goals with a frequency of scoring in every 229 minutes. He has also assisted in six Arsenal Goals this season with a passing accuracy as high as 85 percent. His dribbling success is 80 percent which can be considered one of the best in the Premier League. He has also won 47 percent of duels in the matches he played so far and this is clearly suggesting that he will fight for every ball in the midfield.

Dele Alli :

The English International will be another ‘Player to watch out for’ in the ‘North London Derby’. Alli was in great form in the previous season for Spurs. But he is looking a bit ‘off colour’ in this season. This match could prove to be a turning point of his performance graph of this season.

Alli has featured in 25 matches for Spurs in this season and he has scored in 5 goals with a frequency of scoring in every 421 minutes. He has also assisted in 7 goals of Tottenham Hotspur with a passing accuracy of 77 percent which is a decent one. His rate of successful dribbling is 38 percent which is not really up to the mark and he has won 43 percent of duels in the field.

Conclusion :

From the above stats it is clear that Ramsey is having a slight edge over Alli so far in this season. But in a big match like this, one successful dribble or one great shot could change the course of the match and these two players are really capable of making the difference between two evenly matched sides.
