Olivier Giroud have saved Arsenal’s day many times during his stay in North-London. When The Gunners are in cry of a goal and the team is having a bad day at the office, One man used to be their armor – Olivier Giroud.

Persence of Giroud is still missed by the supporters and every fan ‘wishes Giroud was still at Arsenal’ in between a match, when an urgent goal is needed.

League Cup: Reading FC vs Arsenal – 30/10/12


Talking about comebacks – this may just turn out to be the best comeback in Arsenal’s history.

Arsenal were trailing 4-0 against Reading in the League Cup game of 2012-13 campaign. But, Arsenal came from behind to win the match with a margin of 7-5.

Olivier Giroud scored an important goal coming on from the bench.

Premier League: Newcastle United vs Arsenal – 29/12/13


In the last match of calender year 2013, Olivier Giroud scored with his head again from Theo Walcott’s free-kick. Giroud’s goal was the difcerence between both the sides and this win had helped to stay at the top of the Table in the Premier League on the New Year’s eve.

Sanchez started centrally ahead of Giroud nevertheless it was the French man who did the job. Everton were leading comfortably with cushion of two goals until the last ten minutes.

Arsenal were playing Leicester City at home to kick-off Premier League season 2017-18. This fixture would certainly be in contention for match of the season.

Alexandre Lacazette scored in the opening minute to give Arsenal a ‘perfect’ start to the season.

But, Leicester City were leading 3-2 when Olivier Giroud was introduced from the bench. Aaron Ramsey equalised soon and Giroud had the last laugh once again when he netted the winner in the 86th minute.

UEFA Europa League: Red Star Belgrade vs Arsenal – 19/10/17


Arsenal were expected to go big in the Europa League fixtire. But they weren’t on their game, everything they did was going for nothing and it looked like another day for the English giants to bow down.

But apparently Red Star Belgrade forgot Olivier Giroud was still on the pitch. The French international scored a superb goal to take all the three points. It was just when no one expected that Arsenal would score – Giroud netted a perfectly executed close range bicycle kick.

Southampton were having better of Arsenal with Charlie Austin’s strike in the third minute proving the difference. Arsenal were staring eye-to-eye with a defeat. Arsene Wenger plaued his ace bringing on Olivier Giroud from the bench.

Olivier Giroud’s header in the dying moments moments helped Arsenal to avoid a loss and drag out with a point.
