Arsenal will face Spanish Giants Atletico Madrid in the Semi-Finals of Europa League.
Arsenal comes into the semis by defeating CSKA Moscow 6-3 on aggregate. A superb home leg followed by a tough away one, the Gunners showed why they are regarded as favorites to win Europa League this season.
Atletico Madrid came down to Europa after being knocked out in the group stage of Champions League and are probably the best team to compete for the cup with Arsenal. They beat Sporting CB 2-1 on aggregate for a semi finale spot.
Many expected Arsenal to face Atletico Madrid in the Europa League Finale at Lyon’s Groupama Stadium, but both of them will face foes in Semi-Finals. They have two legs to play now and these 180 minutes will be the most competitive one of Europa League this season.
