Being unable to qualify for the Champions League and subsequently diminishing their transfer budget to only £45 million. The amount at which they can barely purchase an experienced candidate.

The Gunners have however tasked their money pretty well building up their “time to come.” Afore, the purchase of Martinelli and now the loan of an extremely talented youngster Dani Ceballos. This is Emery’s only second signing of summer window and seems to be the penultimate one; the purchase of William Saloba can be his last.

We’ve already seen Martinelli perform in the pre-season games and I therefore focus on Dani’s reason to Arsenal and position to play. The midfielder is without thoughts a Ramsey replacement but his position may not be the same where Aaron used to play.

Ceballos is once in a decade talent and to have snatched him for a loan is a huge deal for Arsenal (not as huge as Denis Suarez, though). Please don’t debate with me on how good Suarez was for Arsenal because no one can perform the way he did.

I talk if him as a Ramsey replacement because of the position he has been playing as a Number 10 for U-21 Spanish squad. This makes him adapt to play in the opposition area and also grab onto half-chances.

The youngster is a prodigy when it comes to creating chances or shooting one when needed. Because of his attacking capabilities, he is most likely to play as a Number 10 under Emery.

If Ceballos is a gold for Arsenal, the club is no less than a pie for the Spaniard. Not being perfect to play in an elite club of Real Madrid, Ceballos has got a great opportune in playing for Arsenal and getting valuable game-time.
