Arsenal are said to be closing in on long term target William Saliba, as the French starlet was spotted alongside some of his potential team-mates.
Arsenal are set to beat Tottenham to signatures of the young French defender, as he was pictured alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alex Lacazette and Ainsley Maitland-Niles on Sunday night.
Saliba is set to undergo his Arsenal medical in coming days ahead of move which will see him go back to current club Saint-Etienne for his further development.
Arsenal as well as Saint-Etienne are in middle of their preseason tour in United States and Saliba did not feature in ASSE’s 2-1 defeat to Marseille at the weekend.
Saliba watched from the sidelines as a spectator and was pictured alongside the trio of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Maitland-Niles, who all made the trip to DC United’s Audi Field to watch Auba’s former club.
Aubameyang played for three years at Saint-Etienne and was seen catching up with coaching staff and old friends – including skipper Loic Perrin, the Gabonese scored 41 goals in 97 appearances between 2011 and 2013 for Les Verts.
William Saliba is set to become team-mates with them and a picture in same from has got the Gunners faithful well excited.
