Manchester City have become a recruiting hub for Arsenal. The Gunners have already lured in the likes of Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus from Pep Guardiola. Not to forget, it all started with the North Londoners stealing Mikel Arteta from Man City.
Arteta is now looking to add one more Citizen to his list – Kalvin Phillips. The 27-year-old Englishman has found his time unyielding under Guardiola with new players coming into the squad and Phillips still warming the bench.
Despite Manchester City being plagued with injuries, Kalvin Phillips still hasn’t gotten game time. The Englishman surely hasn’t earned the trust of his manager yet and thus finding it difficult to enjoy game time.
Kalvin Phillips before joining City was termed as Premier League’s one of the best defensive midfielder because of his tenacity and solidity. A fresh start for Phillips is up on the cards and Arsenal would not want to miss this opportunity.
It is yet to be seen if the Gunners follow their interest on the midfielder until January. Manchester City have already found a difficult time in the midfield this season and stealing Phillips from the Champions will be a masterstroke by Arsenal who are vying for the silverware this season.
