Who said what

Alexandre Lacazette on BT Sport: “It was good, a good game. I’m happy I’ve come back. I wanted (to stay on) but not the day for the third goal. It’s fine, I’m happy. Job done for today but we have an important game on Sunday and after we can think about the next game.”

Aaron Ramsey tells BT Sport: “We knew the home match was going to be important so we had to score goals. We know it’s going to be a difficult game over there, but we’ve put ourselves in a good position. I like to make them late runs into the box, I have plenty of opportunities. I’m happy I contributed to the team today but on another day I might have got a third, but it wasn’t to be.

On his superb second goal: “I’ve seen him (Akinfeev) coming out, I knew if I manage to get it over him it would have had a chance of going in.”

On going to Russia: “We’re going over there for a game of football so we’re looking forward to that.”
