Ancelotti in running for Arsenal job

Carlo-Ancelotti

Arsenal have been dismal, to say the least, this season. It’s now 51 days, that’s nearly 2 months, since Arsenal last won a Premier League game. The long awaited news, that Unai Emery has been relieved of his duties, finally came. Now Arsenal will begin to hunt for a new gaffer, with Freddie Lujungberg filling in on an interim basis. As rumours of potential managers keep swirling, let’s take a look at some of the names being thrown about;

The Telegraph claims Arsenal are considering move for Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti, who was also one of candidate to replace Arsene Wenger eighteen months back, is back into running.

Well, Carlo will certainly come in and sort out the defence for a start. Additionally he is known for his man management skills and with bolstering attacking players we have, he certainly will be perfect for the Gunners.

If Ancelotti comes in – you could expect Mesut Ozil to take the center stage in his Arsenal as Carlo loves orthodox number ten’s donning the play in his attack. Probably the revival Mesut needs after his under-treatment under Unai.

Former Chelsea gaffer could come in for around £230,000 a week and £290,000 a week, but he certainly is capable candidate alongside others viz. Mikel Arteta, Max Allegri, Mauricio Pochettino, Nuno and others.

His Napoli earned themselves 1-1 draw against Liverpool in the midweek a Anfield, a place where Arsenal have struggled lately.

With lack of morale and confidence, an experience candidate is needed at helm and Carlo certainly seems to fit the requirements.
