Tottenh*m Hotsp*r’s interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt has hurt Arsenal’s pursuit.
The German midfielder, who has been in great form for Borussia Dortmund, is allegedly preparing to initiate contract discussions with his present club, which would disappoint both North London teams who were interested in him.
Brandt’s progress this season is impressive. He’s led Dortmund’s championship chase with eight Bundesliga goals.
Tottenh*m would have shown intent by pursuing Brandt.
Arsenal has long sought a player like Brandt. The midfielder will help the Gunners generate opportunities, despite their success this season. Mikel Arteta’s team would have benefitted from Brandt’s goals and assists.
With Dortmund ready to give the midfielder a new and better deal, Tottenh*m and Arsenal may have to search elsewhere for reinforcements. We have many alternatives, so this shouldn’t harm.
