Arsenal target Kieran Tierney ‘boards flight’ to London…

Arsenal are in the market for a new-left back, with Nacho Monreal all set to leave the North-Londoners as the Spaniard’s contract ran-out on 1st July – although Arsenal are yet to confirm his departure formally.

And their pursuit of Kieran Tierney suggests Nacho is heading out the exit door, as Arsenal saw their initial bid of £15 million turned down for the Scot.

As per latest reports, Unai Emery’s side are understood to have made a fresh bid after their offer being wide of Celtic’s valuation, which is reportedly still below Neil Lennon’s asking price of £25 million, though have they done enough to tempt Tierney in Red & Whites.

One Celtic fan going by username @the_gaz88 claimed on twitter that Kieran Tierney had hopped on a flight to London, indicating that it could be to secure a move to Arsenal.

Though many Hoops faithful refused to believe the news, demanding photographic evidence.

“BREAKING NEWS. Kieran Tierney has just boarded the BA1491 flight from Glasgow to London Heathrow. This could be goodbye,” @the_gaz88 wrote.

However, some fans claim that it was for a visit to specialist as Kieran Tierney continues rehab to recover from long-term hip injury. Scottish full-back underwent double hernia surgery back in May but still its a long way back to full fitness.

However, his hip problems hasn’t put Unai Emery under change of jead towards his pursuit as Arsenal counties Tierney chase.
