Players that can’t be unnoticed are the strikers of both teams. Alexandre Lacazette and Roberto Firmino.

Alexandre Lacazette, despite not finding the back of the net in the past two games for the gunners has undoubtedly been instrumental in their winning run. The 27 year old French striker has so far netted 5 times and assisted 3 times in 10 appearances this season in the Premier League. A player who likes to play short passes and is very good and loves to play with layoffs in build ups in his top form any day poses as a serious threat to the opposition. Lacazette likes to keep the ball to his feet and try shots from long ranges.

Unlike Lacazette who is yet to score a goal against Liverpool, Roberto Firmino has had the better of that stats against Arsenal. Despite being goal shy this season he’s scored 5 times against Arsenal in his 4 encounters. For a player who is an expert at indirect free kicks and good at tackling, his gaffer still chooses him despite been goal shy, because even when he is not scoring he is still contributing in pressing opponents and setting up a goal to see his score. His attacking prowess in that trio attack is undoubtedly deadly and Arsenal will be praying he doesn’t have a good day.

Good players of the type of Lacazette and Firmino are very anticipating of such big games. And for the type of stats both players have had so far despite their abilities, it won’t be shocking that both will be looking forward to make a statement at the Emirates on the weekend.

This game is one that could determine the top four teams as the season goes and with both teams wishing to be in the Champions League next season, this game is a must see and the two players under monitoring are worth looking out for.
