Denis Suarez & Co. arrives in Manchester but key player missing | Manchester City vs Arsenal

The Arsenal team arrived at Manchester early on Saturday night checking into their hotel ahead of a crunch clash against Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday. The North London giants will be hoping to bring something back to the Emirates when they take on Pep Guardiola’s men at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Latest Arsenal signing Denis Suarez could be lined up to make his debut for Unai Emery at his new club after signing on a loan deal from Barcelona on transfer deadline day. The 25-year-old could start against his former club and was also pictured along French defender Laurent Koscielny who could play a massive part for Arsenal on Sunday. Koscielny missed the game against Cardiff City after medics confirmed that he did not break his jaw after the Manchester United encounter.

Hector Bellerin, Sokratis Papastathopolous, and Rob Holding (all of whom are confirmed injured) are not present while Mesut Ozil traveled with the team. Attackers Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were also snapped by the paparazzi as they made the trip on a private jet.

Stepan Lichsteiner and Bernd Leno were not captured in photographs but were seen getting off the bus although to the surprise of everyone Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka was not seen nor pictured getting on or off the bus or in the hotel which means that he hasn’t traveled with the squad.

Ainsley Maitland Niles and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were also being assessed with minor injuries and were other notable absentees.
