Premier League star ready to quit current club to join Arsenal

Ryan-Fraser

The latest reports state that Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser is prepared to quit playing for the Cherries amid interest from North London side Arsenal.

With the summer transfer window nearing, Premier League die Arsenal are looking to bolster their squad for the upcoming season. The Gunners have a few targets on their list and will look to fulfill their expectations despite a limited budget.

Unai Emery’s side is still in the hunt for a top-four spot and has also made it to the semifinals of the Europa League, but there is still need for reinforcements. The Spaniard knows that he needs top quality attackers if he wants to compete for major honors and silverware on a regular basis in the near future.

One player who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium is Bournemouth star winger Ryan Fraser. The explosive playmaker has been at the heart of everything positive for Bournemouth this season and helped Eddie Howe’s team to 14th on the Premier League table.

Fraser has scored seven goals in the Premier League this term and has a staggering 13 assists to his name as well. It’s quite clear that the 25-year-old is one of the most creative players in England’s top flight and could be an upgrade over Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.

The Scottish international has only one more year remaining on his current contract with Bournemouth and he is likely to leave the club in the summer. However, recent reports from the Mirror claim that Fraser will quit the Dean Court Stadium to play for a big club like Arsenal.

The only issue for a transfer to take place is the fact that Arsenal is on a transfer budget and Bournemouth would not want to lose their prized asset for a cheap price.
