Arsenal are back with a statement. Not only the goal sheet but even way they executed the game – Perfect passes, deadly crosses and stone defence.

Arsene Wenger will be a happy man, as we saw, What I call – ‘A Perfect Response’ from the Arsenal team.

FIRST HALF

Arsenal are looking full of confidence starting the game. You could see Arsene Wenger has certainly ‘had a go’ on the players after the loss at Anfield on last matchday.

It just takes couple of good minutes of football to get back your confidence, and so was the case at The Emirates as the game begin.

In the first half you could see those ‘feather touches’ and ‘mesmerising football’, what Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are known for.

Eyebrows were raised with Danny Welbeck starting ahead of Alexis Sanchez. But, What I think is – with injury layoffs in the past couple of years Welbeck has lost his footing. He has got quality to catch the eyes of the crowd and only game time will help him get back to his abilities.

Arsenal opened the scoring in the sixth minute with Danny Welbeck netting an header home.

Lacazette scores the second one for Arsenal with a perfect shoot in the top right corner.

Ozil had a go at the goal but only brilliant save from Begovic denied the goal. Overall, it was only Arsenal in the first half as Arsenal are half way through for Premier League victory after long time.

SECOND HALF

As soon as we get back from the half time, Defoe gets unlucky when he hits the woodwork from close range. But it doesn’t take long to see a goal as Welbeck nets his second and Arsenal’s third with another superb goal from the hosts. Begovic could have done more to it,but the ball is into the net and Welbeck is on a hat-trick.

Coquelin make in 100th Premier League appearances as he comes on for Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal are dominating the the game, as Coquelin shot into the net gets deflected for a corner. And there is a double change for the Gunners as Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez comes on for goal scorers Lacazette and Welbeck.

Olivier_giroud

The trio of Mesut, Alexis and Olivier is back again, not something Bournemouth’s defence wants to see. We are already seeing some brilliant work from Giroud,Sanchez and Kolasinac on the left just Begovic’s glove stays put.

Coquelin stretches his hamstring and Arsenal will have to play the last ten minutes with 10 men.

Bournemouth trying to take the advantage some passes for them in the final third but Arsenal defence remains a wall. Late into the match Cech makes a superb save to keep the first clean sheet of the season.

If there were any other man at the last line of defence other than Begovic, it would have been five or six in the net.

FT: Arsenal 3 – 0 Bournemouth

Arsenal were fantastic in the game and are back to winning ways with a statement.Arsenal have two games coming up this week as Emirates hosts FC Koln for the Europa League fixture followed by a visit to Stamford Bridge on the weekend.

Smile on the faces are back again for the Gunners but Bournemouth have to serious worries ahead with four defeats in four games.

Who said what?

Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe: “A disappointing performance, we are not happy. We can give so much more than that.

“The next game is massive for us. We believe we can perform. It is not for the want of trying, we prepare right.Sometimes when your confidence is low nothing seems to go your way and hopefully it will turn.

“We have to be men and stand up and be counted. We can only do it together.”

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe: “That was nowhere near where we need to be.

“You can get bad results in the Premier League, but when you don’t have performances, that’s where concerns creep in. That’s where we are. We will lick our wounds.

“We are not creating chances, we are giving up too many chances and we are not passing the ball well.”

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: “It was a serious performance, we played well all over the pitch.

“Alexis Sanchez will win the fans back, and win them back very quickly.

“We want to do well in Europe and we will put out a team that can win the game on Thursday.”

Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck: “We have had a difficult few weeks and we got the right result – but it has to continue.

“You have to be prepared and execute the gameplan. The early goal helped us along the way. We have got Cologne on Thursday and then Chelsea away next Sunday.

“It is a good headache for the manager to have up front with me, Lacazette, Giroud and Sanchez.”
