Why is James Forrest an ideal fit at Arsenal?

And into the “Forrest” we go!

Once upon a time, Arsenal missed a golden opportunity. Wait! This has become our habit. We screen players than we miss, we find new players only to lose them to opponents. Back in January, a Celtic ace was slipped through our hands. We showed ample interest in signing James Forrest only to discard it through.

Welback has gone. Alexandre Lacazette has told that rumours from Barcelona is “flattering” I know for sure that he won’t leave but football is the most unpredictable game unless you are an Octopus. For him, I say we have a player in mind.

Once again, the 17-year-old Celtic star is flirting open in the transfer window and this time the offer has to be made, crisp and accurate. Hardly, should we miss the striker this time. The Scottish international has shown some champion-like attitude going into this season.

The move that did not quantify in January  has to materialise now. Playing for Celtic, Forrest scored 17 goals this season and was also the chief constructor of Celtic’s 8th consecutive Premier League title. He made Parkhead his fortress where in a total of 55 games for Celtic his 17 goals were coupled with 20 assists.

An overall brilliant and inimitable season bestowed him with PFA Scotland Player of the Year, earlier this month. Considering that, Arsenal must resume the signing of a striker that they paused earlier.

The North London giants should definitely put their main focus on defensive reinforcements but bolstering the attack is a necessity too. We need an out-and-out winger considering the chances of Mesut Ozil and Mkhitariyan cracky. And even if they do, Forrest’s entry into the Gunners will only deepen the squad, increase the competition and bestow results.

Forrest, know for his blistering pace, blitzkrieg goal-scoring attitude, dribbles and direct approach can surely gift us an edge over rivals. With his pace he can cut inside the flanks, easily. A team player always ready to put his blood will be beneficial, definitely. He loves space and when he finds one can score a screamer.
If you want to be surprised, watch him play.

The 27-year-old winger is intelligent with the ball, link-ups and crosses. He often tends to play quick football incorporated with short passes and goal-scoring chances. The versatile wingman is no bad in running back to win the balls and therefore is capable of playing a wing-back.

The time has come where we have to hold our strength and behold new talent. To start with, let’s enter into the dense Forrest of Scotland who has aplenty greener patches yet to grow promising of a bright future ahead.
