According to Foot Mercato, a number of big European clubs are eyeing Wilfried Zaha on a free transfer as his contract with Crystal Palace is set to expire at the end of the season. The Ivory Coast international has often been considered one of the best dribblers in the Premier League and is expected to leave Selhurst Park for the second time in his career.

Arsenal, along with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and AS Monaco, are reportedly interested in signing the 30-year-old winger. However, not every club will be able to afford him as he is likely to demand a big pay increase from his current €6m/year at Crystal Palace, which may be the last hefty contract of his career.

It is noted that Arsenal stand a good chance of getting Zaha, as the player has expressed his desire to play in the Champions League next season. With Arsenal likely to play in the competition next year, Zaha may be convinced to stay in London, depending on what other clubs can offer him. Playing time will also be a factor in his decision.

Zaha has been a key player for Crystal Palace, making over 400 appearances for the club across two spells. He has scored 68 goals and provided 72 assists during his time at Selhurst Park. Arsenal could benefit from Zaha’s pace, dribbling ability, and versatility in attack, as they look to rebuild under manager Mikel Arteta. However, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to afford his wage demands and beat out other top European clubs for his signature.
