Arsenal boost Champions League hopes with Newcastle win

The Gunners move up to third with a convincing 2-0 victory against Newcastle at the Emirates.

But, they are in for a tough fixtures list in April, with away trips to Everton, Watford, Wolves, and Leicester (although not as grind-y as their counterparts who still have atleast couple of matches against BIG SIX).

Supplemented with a home fixture against Crystal Palace and a double Europa League header against Napoli.

Arsenal are now as short as 8/15 for a top-four finish with one of the best football betting sites, BetVictor.

Or, if you fancy the Europa League route in which they are best priced at 5/1 with bet365 to win outright.

Can the Gunners Secure a Top Four Finish?

Arsenal will have to improve their form on the road if they want to finish in the top four this season.

The Gunners have been a force at the Emirates this season, only losing their opening Premier League game (against Man City) all season.

They have won their last ten home games in a row while scoring two or more goals in thirteen of their sixteen home matches.

But, Arsenal have not seen similar success on the road, winning just one of their last eight away games while drawing three and losing four.

Arsenal’s first test on the road comes at Goodison Park this Sunday, with an Everton side that have seen a positive turn in form.

Everton have won their last two games without conceding, but Arsenal have a good history against the Toffees.

The Gunners have won six of their last seven Premier League meetings, losing just once at Goodison Park in 2016.

Ultimately, the Gunners will have to improve that away form as they come up against tricky opponents in Watford (15/04), Wolves (24/04), and Leicester (29/04).

If they can get positive results on the road, a top-four finish, and return to the Champions League looks more than likely for Arsenal.
