Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing talented midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer.
Several elite clubs have expressed interest in the Danish midfielder, 21, after seeing him perform admirably for the German club this year. This season, Lindstrom has excelled for Frankfurt, demonstrating his great technical skill and eye for goal.
Arsenal’s interest in Lindstrom is a blatant sign that they want to improve their midfield options for the upcoming season. Granit Xhaka has been excellent for the Arsenal this season, and the addition of Lindstrom might improve things.
For all his exceptional qualities, the Swiss midfield maestro has a ceiling. Signing someone for the long-term would bode well for Mikel Arteta & co. as they look to build a Champions League quality squad for the near future.
The Danish midfielder is a flexible player who can play either wide or in the centre of the field. He might be the perfect match for Arsenal’s brand of play because of his ability to control the tempo of the game and create opportunities for his teammates.
Lindstrom is a very interesting option that we must pursue. He’d be a great addition to our current setup. At the right price, this is a no-brainer. Let’s see if we manage to get him.
