Latest reports reveal that Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has promised Denis Suarez that he will be allowed to join Arsenal in this January transfer window.
Its said that, Suarez is desperate to leave Barcelona and join the Gunners reuniting with Unai Emery in the process. Denis also rejected $20 million approach from West Ham as his heart is already set on Arsenal.
Unai Emery is pushing Arsenal to sign the 25-year-old Spaniard, with personal terms already agreed ahead of the switch.
However, Marca claim Bartomeu has had to personally intervene in transfer talks after both parties appeared to hit a wall.
Barcelona wants to finalise Suarez’s exit this month and are requesting something around £15million, but Arsenal are pushing for a loan move making the switch permanent in the summer (as they don’t have enough funds available) and have indicated that they will be meeting Barcelona’s asking price in the summer.
But with talks stalled between both the clubs – President Bartomeu has promised Denis Suarez that he will personally make sure that he gets his wish to join Arsenal this month.
The Catalans are now likely to agree to a loan deal with an obligation to buy in the summer.
