Amidst the financial crisis that has been caused by Covid-19, Premier League teams are scouting aplenty young talents who will come in cheap and will have exponential returns.

One such player is George Lewis who is being scouted by Arsenal. The Gunners are looking to strengthen their front line as they look to sign this Norwegian striker.

The 19-year-old already had a fortnight of trial with the club back in March and had impressed one and all. George plays for Norwegian third-division club Fram Larvik and is available for a free transfer this season.

The deal is most likely to be sealed between the two parties and he will mostly start for Steve Bould’s Under-23s side.

Lewis began his footballing career at Norwegian club Tromso IL, rising through the positions, before doing the change to Tromsdalen in 2017, where he put his first pen to paper.

Lewis is free-agent now and has already impressed Gunners in his extended training session. The youngster is strong up front and is capable of playing across the front lines with ease.

He used pace to his advantage while looking to swoop in the penalty box from wings. He is someone that can help the centre-forward’s get going in their business and make their task easier. He is also adept in front of goal and at 19, has a vigour that requires to be a Gunner.

As Arteta looks to create a squad for the future, George Lewis is a perfect fit in his jigsaw who in a few years to come will be a regular in senior team.

The Norwegian youngster has been under the radar of Arsenal this whole season and we can expect the London club to sign him as soon as the transfer window opens.
