Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who replaced Alexandre Lacazette for the final twenty five minutes against Tottenham on Sunday, could have had played his final game for the Gunners this campaign as the Armenian is subject to considerable interest from AS Roma.
The Italian club are willing to acquire Micki on a season long-loan BUT there is no anticipated option or obligation to buy. Roma will additionally also bear Mkhitaryan’s £180,000-a-week wage.
