The manager, however, should give Nelson a chance up ahead that he definitely deserves which has to come at a cost. That can possibly be benching Nicolas Pepe in Europa League matches who is having a hectic run of games for a long time now.

What Arteta can do best is deploy Pepe on the bench in their next Europa League game against Olympiacos which is scheduled on 28th February. The Frenchman can be shoed by Reiss Nelson who is no less than a perfect substitute.

Nelson as a winger has shown everyone what he is capable of and his presence on the flank is no less than a mirror of Nicolas Pepe, only for the fact that he’ll play in the right wing.

Arsenal already have a lead of 1 goal courtesy their away goal which gives them a definite reason to start Nelson coming weekend. Arteta has been a huge fan of Nelson since the latter was 16 and to give him a chance is necessary.

The versatile winger has shown flashes of talent coupled with his ability to make tackles which can be hefty for Arteta, every single time. Reiss is a player who Arteta firmly believes in and to start him is a win-win for the manager; “rest to Nicolas and chance to Nelson.”
