Bayern Munich star left-back David Alaba admitted being an Arsenal fan which led to majority of Gunners wanting him to sign for Arsenal immediately.
He said: “I’m happy in Munich, but of course, I can imagine seeing something else. Spain, England. I was [an Arsenal fan as a child].
“When you’ve been Arsenal fan as a kid, you will be one your whole life.”
His admission coming with Arsenal long time full back Nacho Monreal’s twilight just gave fans the required cherry on the cake.
Not long from above disclosure, Bayern Munich announced record signing of Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid for £68 million. Versatile French defender who can play along the last line will make his trip to Munich in July on a five year deal.
It hasn’t taken ling for Arsenal faithful into wondering WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR DAVID ALABA.
The 26 year old still has his contract with Bayern and upto 2021, but a potential exit lingering in the summer.
These Arsenal fans certainly think so as they take to Twitter hoping that the Gunners move with some urgency to seal a deal for highly rated Alaba.
