In what proves to be an exciting match-up between the 15th placed team on the league table versus the 4th placed team on the EPL table, many fans of both teams are eager to Sunday’s afternoon encounter at the Selhurst Park.

The Gunners are looking forward to extending their interesting 11 game winning streak in all competitions whilst Palace are looking forward to returning to winning ways after suffering a 2-Nil defeat against the toffees in their last EPL encounter.

The last time Arsenal visited Selhurst Park it was a great 5 goal encounter with the Arsenal coming victorious; despite a good run of Arsenal winning 28 times , drawing 11 times and losing 4 times, Unai Emery seeks to work hard and eschew complacency in his squad ahead of the encounter.

Ahead of the meeting, we look at two players who seem to be from the same continent and are making good impact in their teams. Wilfried Zaha and Alex Iwobi.

Wilfried Zaha, though has rejected a big new offer from his club, has over the weeks proven to be a major part of their game plan and success. The 25 year old winger who can play on both the left and right of midfield has so far in the Premier League scored 3 goals and made one assist in 8 appearances so far. The Ivorian is known for his ability to beat full backs with his dribbling abilities and chance creation. Giving him too much space spells danger for the opposition side and Arsenal have to be wary of such threats in their match on Sunday.

Over the period he has been linked to a move away from Palace with Arsenal been part of the top teams interested in his services but the Ivorian has shown much concentration and zeal in his play for his current club and looks forward to helping them return to winning ways in the coming week. Though he has few weaknesses such as not been a great crosser of the ball and loses the ball easily, on a good day his dribbling prowess can cause havoc to any opposition and Arsenal will not wish for a good day for him on Sunday.

Nigerian born Alex Iwobi, has become a great revelation in the Arsenal squad since the arrival of Unai Emery, his confidence has reached a crescendo and he is more often than not making himself a regular in weekly games for the Gunners. He has a goal and an assist so far in 6 premier league games.

The Nigerian who grew up from the ranks of the academy to the senior team has said the new gaffer has boosted his confidence and has given him the chance to improve on his mistakes both in training and even in games. His vision, dribbling and speed have seen great improvement and leaves the opposition much to be wary of. On a great day for Alex Iwobi, his prowess on the left side of attack or even in midfield is a delight to watch and Arsenal fans will be wishing for more of what they’ve seen so far in his game.

Sunday at Selhurst Park is a game which will be much exhilarating with both teams hoping to win with their tactics at play, will Zaha pose his usual threat or will Iwobi continue in his skillful attributes to help Arsenal win their 12th game? The Selhurst Park will tell after 90 minutes.
