With the influx of heavy money being spent on the Champions League, the age-old rivalry and so-called Premier League derby between Arsenal and Manchester United, still captivates the masses. On Sunday both teams meet again in a battle to overpower and outdo one another.

The age-old rivalry between the strikers of Gunners and Red Devils has been purely evident where year after another both the teams craved for a goal-scoring spree and this weekend senses to be an encore of what used to be a fierce rivalry where Pizza were thrown, words were spat or an enthralling 10 game thriller was played.

Now, we have two cult heroes of their respective teams, Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang and Marcus Rashford; fairly similar and heavily respected by their fans who will look to carry on their rich vein of form.

The Gabonese international and the English youngster, both had a rather similar to their career, starting off out wide and developing as a dangerous centre-forward. The strikers have the ability of drift through the opponents given their skill set and unmatchable speed. The versatile speedsters have a wide range of shots under their belt.

Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang

An elite and experienced campaigner, Aubameyang has proven to be a match winner for Unai Emery; sporting the Red shirt with utmost diligence. The Gabonese international is not far from winning the Golden boot in his first full season but he has to play like the days of Dortmund if he wants to surpass the enigmatic Argentine, Sergio Aguero.

However, the prolific striker, has been valuable for Arsenal in providing goals whenever necessary, although not against big teams. He seems to have a fear of scoring against big names and who other than Manchester United to conquer the ill-feeling. Auba, like Rashford can wriggle through the defenders or even smash the ball past goalkeeper from distance. An experienced and dependant individual Aubameyang has kept his ball rolling playing mainly on the left while Lacazette is on the centre. Even then, the player has successfully scored 26 goals in 42 games playing for the club.

The onus finally falls on two prodigious strikers and only time will tell who is able eke out a point for his team, the groomed youngster of Manchester United or the £62 million boy of Gunners.

Marcus Rashford

Under the reign of Ole, Marcus Rashford has become a consistent starter, unlike Mourinho were he did get starts but not always. The youngster has gotten back the freedom to shoot or rather smash the balls from distance and also being given the responsibility, one in which many faulter: Yes I’m talking about his calm and composed penalty in a decisive turnaround against PSG.

With traces of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo combined, Marcus Rashford has been backed by his manager to become what he is suspected of becoming: an Old Trafford legend. Highly possessed with accurate shooting ability and equally adept to squeeze past the opponents, Rashford will have to get the good of experienced Sokratis and Koscielny and even if does gets past the defence, we do have our mighty LENO; ready to throw his body away.

United’s long-term centre-forward with his hard work ethics and appetite to score goals can prove be a scare in Arsenal’s only way to reach Champions League after their EUROPA LEAGUE campaign seems to have an end.
