Apparently Denis Suarez is linked with Arsenal since forever and we’re just getting frustrated over the confirmation of deal as both the clubs have struck a wall after progressing over the past few weeks and as it appeared Barcelona president Bortmeau would intervene the talks to strike a deal with the Gunners.
According to recent reports, Arsenal have scheduled a meeting with Barcelona on Monday to further discuss taking Denis Suarez to North London.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim talks will continue this week as Arsenal are desperate to get the deal over the line.
Denis Suarez is eager to link with Unai Emery once again at Arsenal – as the Gunners are working on a loan deall with an obligation to buy in the summer.
Unai Emery recently ceased all the permanent transfer rumours and said that Arsenal will not be signing any player except on loan. Arsenal will only make loan transfer this January, due to unavailability of transfer funds.
“We cannot sign permanently,” Emery said. “We can only loan players. I know the club is working on possibilities of which players can help us with big performances like we need now. I cannot say more.”
On being asked the reason as to why Arsenal are reluctant in signing a player and is it the financial restriction that is the reason, Emery said, “We are working with the players who are with us now. Also we are giving chances to the young players and finding with them the regularity to be consistent when we need them to be.”
Arsenal have been heavily linked with Denis Suarez, though the Gunners are apparently not able to meet Barcelona’s £20million asking price this month, but are open to committing to a permanent deal in the summer.
If things go well on Monday – Denis Suarez can well be an Arsenal player before they take field again.
